Simplicity Of The Plan Of Salvation

Dearly beloved in Christ, we come to you in a time of trouble and confusion concerning Gods plan of salvation for all mankind. What was lost in the garden, Jesus came to restore.

Man first must realize he is lost. He must realize that the Son of Man, Jesus, came to seek and to save that which was lost. The plan of salvation is simple and free to all that will accept it. John 3:16 says, " For God so loved the world He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life." He did not pick or choose. He said, "whosoever will, let him come and take of the water of life freely." This simply means that it can't be bought. It (salvation) is not determined by material possessions or your position in society. We are saved by grace thru faith in Jesus Christ. Eph 2:8 says, "That by grace are you saved by faith and not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. Vs 9 Not of works lest any man should boast."

In the Old Testament mans sin was covered by the blood of animal sacrifice. In the New Testament, Jesus was the sacrifice for all mankind. Hebrews 9:22 says, "That without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin." We no longer live under the law but our sin is washed away by the precious blood of the lamb.

In closing, remember that salvation is simply asking God to forgive you of your sins. Acknowledge that Jesus is the Son of God and the only way to the Father is thru Him.

Until next time, remember to read your bible daily, study, pray and get closer to God
