Below are some photos from our trip to Ghana. Some of the photos were taken in the city where there was a lot of garbage everywhere, open sewers, and people sleeping in the streets or in very tiny buildings.

We were able to take some items from the Clothes Closet there to distribute but as you can see below there are many who did receive anything.

On a concrete wall outside a mosque, it reads "Don't urinate here"

Parasites cause many different disorders among the people.

Another little boy in one of the villages we visited.

Malnourishment is common as is the lack of wearing clothes for the children, simply because they don't have any

Older children often will wear clothing much too large for them and girls may wear shirts as dresses

In an effort to supplement their income many people will stand in the roads in the areas of town where tourists go in an effort to sell items

This is Becky ministering at Mamprobi, a section of Accra. The service was being held outdoors to accomodate everyone who wanted to come

Trotros (most often minivans) were the cheapest form of transportation around Ghana if you didn't mind being packed in with 15 or more people.

Open sewers run in streets of Accra in most of the poorer areas. The goats and chickens which wander the streets will feed from the sewers

Children wear whatever they have been given, in this case the boy was wearing a girls winter coat as a shirt

Garbage heaps such as these were common in Accra

A very happy elder of the village

Girls from about age 6 on up would often been seen carrying younger siblings on their back in the same way the mothers did

A mom dressing her child with a shirt they received

These were just a few of the children of Chinderi (just one of the villages) who did not receive anything

A little girl in Quadifore who kept staring at us because she had never seen a white person. She thought we were ghosts

A view from toward the back as people were trying to get clothing

Some very happy children at Kaka

As one can see, the people there are in great need of help from here. We want to be able to send more items to them but need financial assistance to do so.

Please consider donating toward helping us to send items to the people there.
