Krupa Kiran

Pastor Kiran has a wonderful ministry in an area where it is desperately needed. Below you can read in his words the beginning of his story. I have pieced together as much as possible in his own words as he has written them to me as I requested them through questions etc. Often we go a few months between contacts because he must travel a good distance to access email through an internet cafe and there are many times he cannot afford the fees associated with going to the cafe. Please keep his ministry in prayer as this is another of the locations where we know we will be going when God works it out.

Spring 2006
"In 1997 I and my family started ministry in the places called Bhavanipuram  and Raharahewaripet. Those are very corner parts of city Vijayawada, state Andhra Pradesh, India. Those areas are completely Hindu areas. Here people are totally under the curse of Satan and worshipping idols.
At first we got too struggles from local people, now also struggles are going on because this area is like that. But our God doing Miracles. By the grace of God more than 500 people have accepted Jesus as their Saviour and more children are attending church. These people are very poor and illiterate because here circumstances is like facing many hurdles. We are regularly visiting their houses and increasing their faith."

The church that he built in the area was just a typical building nothing fancy.

 

May 2007
"Every Sunday we have two worships. One is from 8:30AM to 10:30AM and the other one is from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM. This is because of lack of place in our church.
In the midst of two worships, Sunday school is going on
Every Wednesday evening 7:30-9:30 PM we have Woman's Prayer Meeting.
Every Friday we have prayer from 11:30 AM to 3 PM
Every Saturday evening 7PM to 9PM we have fasting prayer
Every second Saturday we have fasting prayer from 11AM to 4:30 PM"

July 2007
We are replacing church roof with asbestos sheets pastor. because recently in one of Indian festival, here people used to play with fire things. In that some heathen people playing near our church here .Unfortunately fire gradients fallen on roof .Half of our church was burn .We very shocked of that incident. We filled with very pain of that incident.
    After the roof was replaced people were very thankful for another place to worship.

December 2007
Our Church is going on well. And it increasing .on the day 30th of December 2007 , 7 members are taken baptism. Please pray for our service here it should be more mighty in Jesus  in this particular Hindu area and rural area.
