The Love of my Life
For those of you who don't know, I have the love of my life in my husband Charlie. He is wonderful , sweet, loving, kind, and the best friend a person could ever want. He is always working to provide for us and is a massage therapist which he does evenings and weekends while still working a full time job during the week at King College. You can visit his massage website at Heavenly Health Massage. Several years ago God healed him of MS and now he is always on the go. To see him now you would never believe that he ever had MS and was unable to work at all. He holds down a full time job after being told he wouldn't be able to work again. Its not an easy job either, he works in the landscaping and grounds department of a local college, a very physically demanding job. If you'd like to read more about how the MS affected his life you may find it at Charlie's Testimony. We have a wonderful marriage that could be the envy of most people. We share a lot of things with each other and the longer we're together the more we find that we don't want to be apart. When asked the secret of our marriage I have to say that we do our best to keep God first, we play together and we don't sweat the small stuff. He's all I could have ever hoped for in a husband and I love him more than he could possibly ever know. This song has special meaning to me. When we first moved in to the home we live in, it was in November and it was really cold. The stereo was on and we were standing near a kerosene heater trying to warm up. Time in a Bottle came on the radio and he started singing it to me. To me that just really touched my heart and still does to this day. All he has to do is start singing it to me anytime its on the radio and I melt, so that's why I chose this song for this page. If anyone ever asked me for a definition of a perfect husband, I would have to tell them that in my eyes he's as perfect as any human could get. Of course he does have his faults, (we all do) but he will go out of his way to do something special if he thinks it would make me happy. After all, I doubt there are very few guys out there who would ride for 70 miles, in the mountains, on a ten speed bicycle just see their girlfriend. (It took him about 7 and a half hours) He came all that way carrying a candy rose. I can bet there aren't many out there who would be willing to do that.
