Do at least 6 requirements:
- Learn the history of disc golf, how it began and where. Is this a new sport? Is it
mainly for sport or is it played professionally for money?
- Visit at least 2 courses in your area, playing at least 1 round on each course. Which
was harder or easier and why?
- Talk to a person who has been playing for many years. How has the sport changed?
- Learn about the equipment needed to play. What is used and how is this different that
regular golf?
- Learn about the different discs that are used. How are they different? What are they
used for?
- Learn and be able to explain the meaning of 4 characteristics of a disc. How are they
rated?
- Learn to accurately keep score. How is this counted? Is this similar or different than
golf?
- Do 3 hours of volunteer work that relates in some way to disc golf. This can be in
helping to construct or maintain a course, help with a tournament or any other way you can
think of.
- Learn to throw at least 3 different throws that are used in disc golf. Be able to
explain when you would use each one.
- Teach the sport to a younger group/troop or organize a fun day at a local course
