Katie
 

I'd like to tell you about Katie (who just got a new haircut). She is one in a million. I can honestly say there is not another person like her in the world. If there was, the world could not handle it. Katie is the epitome of what a fun loving person can be....

A simple mom in western TN who became an office manager for a large company, Katie often has her plate overloaded with things going on in her life. This can often lead to "less than ideal" results.

Katie's  verbal weapon of choice is sarcasm and can on occasion be very very vicious especially if you're on the receiving end.  If things become physical she has been known to pull out her trusty Magnum 357 revolver, line her computers up in the field and "use them for target practice".

Not only is she a crack shot with her trusty 357, she has many other talents. Comedians on tour cannot hold a candle to Katie. If she ever chose to go on tour, well there would be a lot of sold out venues. According to Charlie, she makes the "best pecan pies he has ever ate in his lifetime". This just proves Katie is a true "daughter of the south".  A pianist in her own right, she is limited to "Trust and Obey", "What a Friend We Have in Jesus" (Baptist style of course) and "How Great Thou Art". Everything with Katie is bright bright yellow and that is her personality as well. She is always going to be noticed.

A few years ago at a gathering of preacher's kids from all over the USA, Katie was the star of the show. From the modeling of her bright yellow morning attire at the motel to her smiling gracefully through the lovely chorus of "Gripe and Complain" at the picnic, everyone was thrilled to finally meet the Katie everyone had came to know and love.

She will be there to hold your hand through the rough times, laugh in the good times and kick your rear end when it needs kicked (which she doesn't hesitate to do). If you really show her you love her regardless of everything and accept her as she is, she is truly a "friend in a million" and I am honored to consider her one of my best friends. She is one of the true friends. You know not only the one that will help you move, but will help you move a body as well (if the need should ever arise) and I know that Katie would be right there with a shovel (along side Sharon of course, someday I gotta introduce them two).

As we all know sometimes women just have to do something for themselves. May I introduce Katie and her "mid life crisis" her beloved Buttercup!!!!
