About Myself

My name is Becky and I am very happily married to Charlie. I grew up as a double PK (preacher's kid), and lived back in the hollers and hills of SW VA. My parents were evangelists and because of that I got to travel a lot. Much of my growing up years were spent in church sometimes 6-7 days a week for months on end. I developed a love of reading which I have to this day. Charlie will laugh and say if I have a book in my hand they might as well not talk to me since I won't hear a word they say.

I have 3 kids, Kenny 19,  Rachel 16 and Austin 15. I thoroughly enjoy being a mom and wouldn't take anything for my younguns. With them you never know what is going to happen next. And that is our family. There have been others who have come and stayed with us, some for a short time and one who stayed a couple years that we still consider family.
We can't forget the many others that spend a lot of time here and they contribute to the overall zoo effect and while they are here they are treated as family as well.
I also enjoy fishing (although I don't have as much time for it anymore as I used to), playing some video games, camping, cooking (at times) and doing things with my Girl Scout troop. I do a lot of work with our church food pantry, and  I spend a lot of volunteer hours at The Clothes Closet. I also lead the singing/worship at our church as well as teach Sunday School. I have gone back to school at King College full time and so I don't have a lot of free time.  The remaining free time I have is often spent online either answering email, updating web pages that I have designed (my own and others) or talking to some of my friends (its cheaper that way you know). In the remaining free time I like to work on our genealogy.
